Carbon emissions have severe consequences for the global environment. It is crucial for society to understand the carbon footprint generated from various sources. Additionally, relevant institutions must unite to educate citizens about the negative impact of CO2 emissions.

The App Impact team is proud to present a web application developed for the TvojCO2.ba project, initiated by UNDP BiH and the UNDP Accelerator Lab. TvojCO2.ba is the first CO2 calculator tailored for Bosnia and Herzegovina, incorporating local emission factors and statistics. By using the TvojCO2.ba calculator, citizens and organizations can quantify their carbon emissions and learn how they can positively impact the environment.

The platform's primary goal is to raise awareness among individuals and organizations about their contributions to greenhouse gas emissions, which are often underestimated. Furthermore, the platform will enable UNDP BiH to create an online marketplace promoting investments in emission offsetting activities, such as afforestation and energy efficiency measures.
