The Civil Service Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, responsible for the employment and professional development of civil servants and the management of human resources in BiH institutions, has a new web portal developed by App Impact.

Using the Webricks Online Presence Platform, a product of App Impact, the team also developed several new modules to streamline employment processes, making daily tasks easier for the Agency's employees. The new portal offers a high-quality online presentation of the Agency's work and values, providing information on vacancies and essential materials crucial for civil servants. This enhances public understanding of the Agency's functions.

The administrative section of the portal allows Agency administrators to efficiently create and manage content through custom modules. The public section displays notifications and allows users to download documents, laws, regulations, and reports. The portal's detailed categorization follows transparency principles, improving public access to all published information. Additionally, a contact form is available for citizens to make inquiries.

Given the importance of employment information for potential job candidates, special attention was paid to the employment sections. This includes a section for creating vacancies that can be easily searched by term, publication dates, application deadlines, and competition types. Interested parties can track vacancies through all phases, from announcement to finalization. The portal also provides exam preparation materials and important notes for candidates to ensure timely information and reduce application errors. Furthermore, links to BiH institutions employing civil servants make the portal a starting point for general information on civil service employment.

The design and development of the portal were undertaken by the App Impact team, with financial support from the Programme for Strengthening of Public Institutions in BiH. This support is part of the public administration reform efforts in BiH, implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, in cooperation with the Government of the United Kingdom.
